For New Years Eve this year Mike and Shannon came over to help us ring in 2009. Matt made some delicious caprese salad, meatballs with red wine sauce and pasta. Shannon brought over a delicious salad and I made an Italian hazelnut chocolate cake for dessert. We had martinis flowing- regular and chocolate, and also had a champagne toast as the ball dropped. We had such a wonderful time! January 1 was a major recovery day, but oh well, it's just once a year! :)
